So, I assume you all got the email from AMT today re: the updated Worker site: “This new website will become the standard experience for all Workers who register on or after November 1, 2017, and for all MTurk Workers starting December 15, 2017.” I assume by “standard experience” AMT means “mandatory experience.” https://blog.mturk.com/introducing-...shboard-a-new-experience-for-new-e9218ee281bd I haven’t checked the new site lately… Have they made it possible to see the auto-approval intervals for HITs, as you can on the current site? I have given feedback to AMT on this, requesting that the approval interval be displayed for the workers. I know I would never take a job of any kind if I did not know when I would be paid for it. Not looking forward to this new site at all.
I don't like the new site at all either. The dashboard is terrible. Maybe it's because we aren't used to it but it is missing some info like how it doesn't total up 45 days. The earnings only show 2016 and 2017 but any years before that is grouped up together into one total which I don't like. As far as I know there is no way for us to see auto-approval on the new site. Perhaps someone will work on that when the time comes.
But… we made the Worker ID permanently available on every page in the top navigation bar XD Our name was already on the top of every page. So adding the ID took, like 5 minutes tops? That blog post is long on self-congratulatory praise and short on making my experience any better.
i'm trying to get used to it. as a rule i don't like change. i was very comfortable with the old way.
Does hitdatabase work with the new site? How else do we make sure we don't accidentally attempt to do the same hit twice?
TurkOpticon 2 shows up in the new worker site but TO 1 does not. Do I need to install a different script?
