Telling the boss how to make sure fewer mistakes are made on the work you're doing for him sounds to me like a good way to earn a raise.
I did about 500 yesterday with no rejections, but out of the two hundred I did today, I think I probably deserve three rejections. One because of the dog (damn his hairy little hide,) one because I was trying to do them too quickly, and one because of sheer stupidity on my part. He hasn't actually rejected them yet, but if he does, I'll have no grounds for complaint. I had one of those days when everything I touched turned to shit.
I e-mailed this requester and was told there will be anoher batch up this week.. not sure if it's the 1k or 5k qualification hits.. and there will be another batch similiar to what is up now in october.. just not sure of the size or when.. Im a lil peeved only because for the 1k hits you need 99% approval I am at 98%.. and the ones up now you need to have 5k completed and I'm only at 1500.. ugh.. I will be turking like crazy to get to the magic number so I can get in on these!!!
Oh My Gawd. I just did another one wrong. I hit the wrong button. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me! That's it. No more turking for me until I've gotten a good night's sleep.
WOW! That is so kewl though!!! He actually asked around to see what people approval ratings were for ones that had done good work (I know he asked me what mine was) and from what you are saying he is gonna open another less than 5k approval group up for those of us under 5k approvals! SWEET!!!
Just my advise. Slow it down. These can casually be done 2 per min and that's $6 hr. So slow it down and relax ;] Still plenty up for this evening so it is no race as usual to get in as many as you can before they are gone. I did this myself a few times. Caught myself doing the 'hurry before they are gone' and then thought about it and decided to try to relax. Problem is we are so used to trying to get them in before they disappear. Thank fully there are still tens of thousands of these left.
Yea but it is still a numbers game.. for the ones requiring 5k the approval only needs to be at 98% I think.. but alot of us don't have 5k approved hits.. the ones that are 1k approval require 99% approval rate..I am at 98% ugh lol.. I know we are used to rushing to get hits in since they fly.. but these ones are flying too.. they just went up this past weekend at 100,000 available and look how many have been done.. this requester definately seems fair and I would love to do this work
@ RW.. thats what I am thinking also.. he didn't say how big the batch will be though, but another one is coming this week.. I've been trying to do as many other hits from quality requesters to get my numbers up to 5k so I can do the ones up now.. see my thread in requesters.. those boost are some batch hits we can do to boost numbers!
The horrifying thing is, I had. I'm just having one of those days. Other people have bad hair days. I have bad brain days. And this was one of them.
HITS progress Hey everyone, - thanks for the suggestion about the submit button. yes, please do bring up things that would help with the HITS. This batch is going well, so I'll not change it, but I have future work planned, and the changes you suggest will be rolled in. - there's a sentiment that maybe it's beneficial to get as many of the remaining HITS as possible before they run out. If you rush, I'm afraid it just won't be worth it - even if you slip a few more HITS in, if there are many missed topics it will be worth less to me. And if that's the case I can't invite you to do more of these. Overall I'm pretty happy with the way things look. The great workers are doing great, save for a few people who are getting tired. If that's the case, please rest up! If you think about it, it's not that much of an opportunity cost to let a few dollars worth of HITS go in exchange for a high reliability rate which will let me invite you to do more. Anyway, I appreciate people letting me know about errors - the best notes I've gotten have been the ones where you're assuring me that you'll take some time off before jumping in again. You'll feel better about it and we'll both come out ahead. Thanks!
Thank you for these hits. I am taking a break myself. But these hits are helping me pay for a very special Christmas gift. I have gotten one reject myself so far, silly mistake on my part. I am hoping that was my only slip up. I do try to be careful, I know how important data can be. Thank you again, and for keeping in communication with us!
Break time again =] Hehe. Looking forward to getting on that 'reliable worker list'. Roughly 2 hours straight is my limit. After that I catch myself slipping an have to stop for a bit. Easy to get right back into a rhythm on these though after a short break. Thanks again for the collaboration on your part.
Got this today: I marked it as Olympics because it's 99% talking about Lebron playing in the Olympics, but that's not obvious when you see it flagged. Also got this: Which I flagged as both Mars and Olympics, but probably will look weird when you get it.
