My favorite is "Classify this advertiser", they pay .03 and no rejections. And payment is on the 3rd days after you do the hit. It takes 15-20 seconds to complete a hit.
My favorite type of mundane HIT is comparing catalog entries. I enjoy the verification process. I like the feeling that I am eliminating error while searching for truth. Being a research subject can be fun, too.
I too like the ones where you place the given subject in a category it only takes a few seconds to do.
My favorite hit is fix name which are requested by Tom Voyer. It will take 1 to 2 min. and get paid 15 cents and one more is Abhishesh Sharma's categorization it will take 20 to 30 sec.
