I keep getting this message "You have exceeded the maximum allowed page request rate for this website." All I'm doing is clicking next at the bottom of the page to find HITS which I would enjoy doing. Can someone explain why I keep getting this message and also what I shouldn't be doing so I can avoid this. Thanks

Are you running page monitor, or any scripts that access the site in the background? The site tracks how many times per minute you access the site to impose a limit. If you have page monitor making 50 searches per minute, then it doesn't leave any room for other browsing. Mind you I don't actually know what the limits are or what you are doing.

And there have been a few errors the site is producing recently that I don't know the cause of. It is entirely possible that you are being affected by a bug.

I didn't download page monitor but I did download Discover fake availabilities however I didnt set how often it checks just whatever was default. So maybe that is what could be doing that? The only other scripts (which I dont think would affect the limit) are Block Requesters, Highlight Unhighlightable, MTurk Hit Database. I have disabled discover fake availabilities and tomorrow I will check to see if it stops.

    Thank you for replying :)
