Has anybody noticed this page showing up more frequently lately?
"You have exceeded the maximum allowed page request rate for this website."

It all but disappeared for me and I thought I had the right balance until three or four days ago. First I tried shutting down all scripts that access Mturk which seemed to help for a while. The next day I had to shut down a bunch of my PM checks, the next day I had to shut down a bunch more, yesterday I had to pretty much shut them all down. Today all I had running were two "task trap" pages at a 7 sec refresh rate (I used to run 5 of them at 3-5 sec) and then when I had a couple tasks cornered I got the error when I tried to submit the first one and then got the error again when I tried to open the second one.

Since I am actively running about 1/10 of what I was a few days ago it must either be a change on the server side or one of my scripts is running out of control without my knowledge. Most of them that poll every Mturk page are now disabled except the TO database (which I now need to be careful no other windows are loading when I put the script monkeys to work) and AMT Tools (I have turned off all options except preview & accept which will be the next to go I guess.

At any rate, I am pretty much shut down if I cannot figure this out so thanks for any ideas.

If you have Page Monitor than it is due to you having to many pages set to be monitored to closely together. Vary the time a bit between each check. I have some set for 10 minutes, some for 5, and so on.

As of today I have all but a few of my PM checks set for 2 days, 7 hours. Yesterday I had more. They have always been staggered but today I turned the times up again on the remaining three or four that are still limping along. Today I am basically checking by hand and even then I need to go slow. Four days ago I had everything running including PM, C4C, and scripts that bang the Mturk database which were causing no problem at all.
