I got an error saying: This HIT has been automatically returned. Worker Account Halted for 5 minutes Your account has been temporarily halted. This can happen when you repeatedly perform actions that indicate you are not abiding by the Participation Agreement. A halted account is unable to preview, accept, resume, or submit HITs. This halt will be automatically lifted by the system after 5 minutes. Why did this happen? I had some HITs racked up in my "Assigned to You" page and then this message popped after the second CAPTCHA, despite me enterring the letters correctly on both tries. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!
this happens if you miss too many captchas. it is mostly triggered if you run multiple auto-refresh tabs and don`t manage to get the most actual captcha in
Word, makes sense. I opened up 3 windows to accept multiple HITs, and there were Captchas in each one. I only entered the alpha-numerals in one of the windows, while the others stayed up. No wonder the Mturk Police pulled me over!
