Hey everyone I was recently kicked out of turkernation. Horribly run forum. I recommend you stay away from there.. I have a lot of experience with mturk so I can provide some decent advice. I've been turking for about 5-6 months.. and I turk a lot.

Not to take away from the original thread starter who has made over two grand but Melissa you're rate is insanely sick! Not bad at all! Especially for a site that rarely has big payouts available, since they're often done a first come first serve basis.
Most of my work has been from either transcription or from requesters that are long gone such as Gaddy, NowNow/Askville, and AboutUs, which was around many, many years ago. These days, it's tougher to make the amount of money I was years ago because many of the good guys have gone
When Gaddy was around, I did edits for him and made insane amounts of money and I was extremely sad to see him go, however, I do believe he'll come back one day when he figures out his new business model.
I agree. I turked back in 2009 for about six months and made over $600. I haven't done it until now because I'm saving up for a vacation. The payouts are so much smaller and it seems that that more qualifications are required. I used to do these hits for Street Advisor that payed 7.50 for each hit. I would do three of those and you had a two day period. That was 22.5 that I was getting for three easy hits.
Lol, but I've been doing this for years. I didn't go full-time until this year because there are no jobs here. We live in a very rural area and there's nothing else around
