Nope, cats are all just really weird.

 

I keep a little pile of old newspapers, and something when I hear them wheezing, I can slip it under them on time. Sometimes not.

 

Usually either hairball or you changed their food too rapidly. Anthony is an exception. He hogs down his food, and instead of chewing the hard food, he gulps the pieces down whole. Then he barfs them up. Coconut rarely barfs.

 

So, if cats barf all the time why would you have a cat? Yuck!

 

Their time estimate is accurate. Can't really go faster. It's easy, but tedious.

One time, in the middle of the night, I was awakened by the sound of my cat wheezing/hacking. Next thing I know, he threw up on my bed (yuck). I couldn't stay mad since he was sick. My long-haired cat actually had to have emergency surgery b/c of a hairball lodged in his intestine (he could not even drink - he would go over to his water bowl and cry). I now get lion cuts for him. Also, I regularly give both of them anti-hairball treats.

My other cat sometimes eats to fast and then barfs undigested kibble. I bought a bowl shaped like a doughnut which slows the eating down. You can also put a golf ball in the middle of the food bowl which slows them down.

 

Cause I love them!! I would have a dog (or two) as well if I could. I have promised both my cats that if I win Mega Millions or Powerball, I will buy a bigger house and get them each a puppy!
