Is that for Emily Rosenzweig, I have one from the 28th still pending with a 30 day AA. To me it just annoying. There is really no reason to have the AA go so long, I think it should be 14 days at most and really that is too long for most hits.
Each day is different. I have some batches that are regular so I activate those. The ones that are random will be activated as they come in.
Of course Amazon doesn't help. The letter may have changed, but this is the very first item in the email they sent me when I signed up: 1) Requesters approve or reject your work within 30 days. Requesters determine whether to pay you within 30 days of submitting your HITs. Amazon Mechanical Turk does not determine when to approve or reject and does not estimate when your HITs will be approved. In the event you have questions about the content of a HIT or the approval status you can contact the Requester directly: Kind of weasely language there. Spell it out. Actually tell people what happens after 30 days.
Nah, that was someone reviewing Stanford GSB Behavioral Lab. The 30 day thing is a minor annoyance to me. Unless it is a $10 HIT or a batch I did hundreds of (annoying since it makes me reluctant to do more for them), I really don't care. It's just that so few actually go the full 30 days they kind of stand out. Just amazes me the rage this induces in some people. It would never cross my mind to send a requester a message over some 50 cent survey not approving quickly.
