Anyone know of a script that you can set to "protect" certain HITs in your queue. I was so brain dead after submitting the bird HIT, when it popped up the supercareer that was next in the queue I almost clicked return to "make it go away" instead of closing the tab. Would be nice to have certain HITs have no return button or something.
This would be good for you. Confirms returns. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/2587-mturk-confirm-return-hit
What the fuck just happened to my queue. I went from just doing a $2 survey to pandaing a $5 and then a $3 then a $7.50 then i added some more pandas and i ended up with like $30 of surveys in the span of about 5 mins. Holy crap >.> so much for sleeping.
What refresh are you using? I haven't caught crap survey wise today. I never can figure out if I am running too many pandas too fast unless I am actively using the site and getting refresh errors.
Im just using panda crazy in its own seperate window like it says to. Also the limit to catch high payers is 4. 5 usually wont catch them and only get the smaller stuff and 3 has a better chance. 2 has a bit better then 3 but 1 never seems to catch anything. Also less lag is good. The faster your internet and computer and less lag you have the better your chances are to catch surveys is what ive found. I feel like ive been repeating this alot the last few days.
Personally I think the rule is: if you already have plenty of work, your pandas will catch surveys left and right. If you are just sitting there staring at scraper, your pandas will fall asleep alongside you.
I always have panda crazy in its own window but lately I have also had a youtube video or something in the same window as pc. I wonder if that makes a difference?
Yes it does, slightly. PC is automatically setup to start searches at 900ms and then it adds time every time it encounters a PRE. If you open multiple tabs in the same window it defaults to 1 sec per tab. So it is not much, but the programmer recommends to run it in its own browser. For best results run it on the new MTurk by using https://worker.mturk.com/?filters[search_term]=pandacrazy=on instead of the other one. It is pretty damn great it doesnt log you out every 12 hours and you can run GOHam and still be able to use regular turk with no PREs.
No kidding huh? I'm going to try that out, how would I run the panda crazy in the new website as opposed to the old one?
first log into the site :https://worker.mturk.com/ then go to : https://worker.mturk.com/?filters[search_term]=pandacrazy=on instead of : https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome?pandacrazy=on For some reason it wont highlight the entire link, but use all of this Edit, I guess it is the parentheses
Nice, thank you! I'm curious to see if I notice the amount of PRE's go down ... Wow you were right, I haven't had a single PRE in 20 plus minutes
First and last time I make a thread. Don't know how you guys find gifs so easily! http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?35060-Putting-the-Human-back-in-HIT-07-07-Bot-Free-Friday
