Going to a great Memorial day party monday. Will be awesome. Regarding funds, how long do you let yours sit? I plan on doing a transfer once a month. Think there's any issues with that? or does the system go down and my money will get stuck or lost if I let it sit in mturk? I haven't even transferred to amazon payments yet, and I have 350 sitting there.....wondering if I should.
I would at least send it to payments. If something absolutely terrible happens and you get suspended or banned from MTurk, then you'll lose anything sitting there, i believe.
I cry for the days when I could transfer on Friday by like 5pm and it would be in on Saturday mornings, and also the days when the transfer from turk to payments would be immediate so you could do it all at one time. So I could start the process a little later in the day on Friday and still have the money for the weekend. Now, I have to start the process by Thursday morning if I want to see the money for the weekend.
Yeah that 6-8 hour delay for the payment to go from MTurk to Amazon Payments is really annoying now and seems like it was done for no other reason than to hang on to your money a little while longer (like Bezos doesn't have enough money with their amazon sales and $600 million CIA contract?). I was busy doing other stuff yesterday morning and by the time I got on MTurk I was like "oh damn it's 1:30 and I haven't done the transfere today" and then I almost forgot to do the bank part before going to bed. Yeah it was so much nicer when you did it all at once because there are times when I screw it up and I have to wait an extra day.

Yep. And it was around the same time my bank stopped making turk transfer funds available on Saturday mornings. After that they either went in on Friday mornings, or else I have to wait til Monday. Since it did happen around the same time I think it was something Amazon did to change that too.
Well I lost my ocmp5 qual, it was changed to 80. I recall someone recently losing theirs and successfully getting ocmp to give it back. Was it Lucas? Anyway, does anyone know which email address to use for them?
Re: Prolific I've changed my mind. I just cashed out about 38 GBP, which is about $45 after Paypal fees. Their surveys are painless, and they don't tell you at the end that you're disqualified. The transaction from Prolific to Paypal, and then Paypal to my bank, took just a few days. I will probably join Circle Pay after I read reviews re: their integrity. I belong to several other survey sites where it would take 2 years to reach $45.
I have a bluebird AMEX card. It's online only (though you may have some services available at Wal-Mart). I've never had an overdraft fee (though it's gone under a zero dollars a few times breifly though mostly that can't happen cause you'll be declined). The biggest pain is not everyone takes AMEX and there's no cash back option so you have to go to an ATM but there's tons of Wawa's here in central Florida where there's no fee (any MoneyPass ATM is free) and I can pull out in incriments of $10. And yeah they are really fast I've sent money over at 5 am in the morning and about half the time it'll deposit arond 2pm that day. And most of the time I get Friday and Saturday's deposits on Sunday between 11 and midnight.
Lucas got his back by emailing. I had to wait until the qual tests rolled around. I emailed them a handful of times but never heard anything back. I'll PM you the email I have.
Thanks frood. At least you were able to retake the qual tests. I hope I get it back as it is pretty much the only hits I do.
