I honestly have no idea if they still have their landline but they did last time I called it in 2015. They both had pay as you go non-smart cell phones at the time. They had a laptop and two desktop computers so it wasn't like they didn't use the internet mostly it was just my dad not wanting to shell out another monthly payment.

I'm working on one of my driving customers. I don't believe in getting rid of your landline because the sound is so bad on most cell phones, and they can go down in a blackout. Companies want to keep adding more features, but the sound on smart-phones and flip-phones is equally bad. I tell my customer to get a flip-phone for emergencies, and mine costs only $25 for 3 months' worth of (250) minutes, no contract.
