No, I'm stopping with a master's unless I get hired by a corporation that would fund me as a doctoral candidate, which is not very likely. I just can't see saddling myself with another 100K in debt for a couple extra letters behind my name. I'm already so deep in the hole my great grandkids will be paying all this off long after I'm gone.

Oh they'll hire me, but they won't pay for any additional degrees. You have to be super smart for that, apparently. A buddy of mine got head hunted by a think tank, his contract had a rider that's amendable on a yearly basis for his snack requirements. I think they called it a well being rider or something, but it was basically for snacks. Not even kidding. Now you know why big pharma is so expensive.
