The thread on MTC is pretty good. It really is worth learning, you guys. Maybe spend a slow weekend playing around with it.
The update is refusing to install. I gave up on it for a while. I have my own way of organizing jobs. One folder "MAIN," which is the default, accepts all jobs. Then I move most batches to my 2nd folder "PERMANENT." These are requesters who keep coming back, and I alphabetize them by requ name. At the end of the day, I delete everything in "MAIN" folder. These were usually one-shot surveys. I turn on batch jobs when TurkAlert or the forum tells me they're out there. Ones that aren't out there stay turned off.
Thanks Parro. I spent last weekend trying out all other alternatives to the Scraper. I'll get to PC eventually. With all these tools out there available, HITs go quickly these days.

Off topic question. Did anyone here start turking prior to August 2011? Reason I'm asking is my weekly activity reports abruptly stop right there. Wondering if maybe prior to that I had a different email linked with my turk account. Or maybe had the older weeklies auto-deleted by my email service. Or maybe that's when Mturk started the weekly reports?
There was an old email acct I had that I didn't use for months or a year and the stuff I had in it was auto-deleted by the email service. All cleaned out. :crushed:
