Anyone do "Log Coin Donations (requires WebGL 1.0)" from Niv Lab? Can't get it to work. It just bitches about not enough memory in Firefox and invalid array length in Chrome. Which begs the question, just how many GB does it need and wtf is it doing with it all?
That actually looks like my cat. She gave herself a concussion trying to jump through the blinds and attack a bird. I guess her little cat brain didn't know that there was glass standing in her way.
Seriously? I'm so sick of this little orange man already. You can't fix our shitty roads with the taxes I already pay, but sure, let's fund a fucking giant unnecessary wall with even more tax money. http://www.npr.org/2017/01/26/511861462/trumps-suggested-import-tax-would-mean-americans-pay-for-that-wall
I did it a few days ago using Chrome and it worked fine. Wasn't that great of a hit though so you're not missing out on anything fantastic. Also for some reason I thought it would have to do with logs. It didn't. I guess I need to work on my reading comprehension skills.
Chrome wanted absolutely nothing to do with it for me. I finally got it to work in Firefox by allowing third party cookies, which is bizarre. (I allow them in Chrome since I use it for turking and you won't get very far turking if you are blocking cookies from inside the hit frame. Firefox I use for personal stuff and the odd HIT that won't work in Chrome, and I have it's privacy locked down a lot more.) And yeah, it really really wasn't worth the effort getting it to work.
I have XP, and can't run Web GL in any browser. Do you have XP? I also just lost a $60 phone survey for the same reason.
Nah, windows 7 for me. Haven't decided what I'll do when MS drops support for it in 2020. I've used windows 10 and it really isn't appealing. I'd be careful using XP, since there is a potential security nightmare there. I'd worry about doing HITs that ask you to find info on random unknown websites anyhow. Surveys and such are fine I am sure. Why are you using XP? Old computer? I have a laptop that is forever stuck in Vista, since there are no usable drivers for anything else. Even though win7 came out 6 months after it was made. Way to go Dell. Fortunately the laptop cost me nothing.
Just tossed back two awful surveys in a row. You can put "remember a time" at the END of a damn survey if you want. It just means I'll write off the 5 minutes spent as a loss and add you to my block list. Time to call it a night. Hopefully something worthwhile will post for the three of you still awake.
I'm super-careful. I have 2 extra security program beside firewall and A-V. MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit and BitDefender AntiRansomware. Yup. 2 old computers, poor cash flow and I just totaled my car. I was given a laptop for free through a friend of a friend. Turns out the Win 7 OS is illegal, and it's had no security updates since 2011. New Win 7 disk will cost me too much $. I'd rather stay with my XP. I know it like my own face. Is there's even a tiny bit of something wrong, I can spot it. Right now the car is a priority. They won't drop support in 2020. With a very popular OS, they usually extend it twice.
