She'll probably pay, Listy is a really good requester from my experience(s). Now the question really is, was the medical survey fixed. Because I would love to take it but I don't want to waste my time doing 3/4 of it just to find out I can't submit it again.
When I went to check, it went to where I left off so it only took me few seconds to find out if it was fixed or not. Didn't have to go through the whole thing to get to that point.
Who else gets nervous when they do a new batch from a new requester they have never done before and they're still pending?
I did this earlier this morning and it's already paid. The TO said you had to write a certain amount and then changed the number of words once you are in the HIT. That happened for me too but I only wrote the original number of words and wrote a note explaining that I didn't think it was fair to change the rules. He already paid but it's only barely worth the 2 bucks. I'm only posting it because it's slow and someone might think it's better than nothing Masters Hit https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=3WYS9MM13UB4686LZGF06O7X9SO0GD
I do too! I was working on one last night that I kept checking to see if any had approved. Fortunately, they all did but I was nervous.
Mine still aren't. The requester is Seid. https://turkopticon.ucsd.edu/A1KDDYRDUWRFGO It's nerve-wracking because he had OK reviews when I first started doing the batch...then like an HOUR later he got a new TO review and the person said he rejects for no reason D:
I was reading one of the reviews and he/she had a plausible explanation for that wording. After reading that it seemed to make sense. I hope they all approve for you! I got one rejection last week and it left me in a lousy mood all day!
Too long. Not worth it. Writing. Returned. Title: Decisions Survey | PANDA Requester: Mark Steves [A1N06WB8XNUZ88] (TO) TO Ratings: TO Unavailable Submit a new TO review Description: Quick survey, 3-4 minutes Time: 15 minutes HITs Available: 76 Reward: $0.40 Qualifications: Location is US
There is writing in this but it still only took about 13 minutes. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview...e=true&groupId=34VKX0JC68T8UTYXEZ9BWJZIDH2RBO
Strange, he thinks, why is this still sitting there? Oh, it's masters. Hardly worth bothering then for $12/hr. Apparently.
Careful with the Tax Academic Study survey. I (and a few others on Opticon) were rejected for taking this survey "too quickly". I'm a very slow survey taker so I think the rejection was unwarranted. Anyway, I've emailed the requester and have not heard back. Take it at your own risk.
Thanks for the heads up I would hate for people to get rejected over something I recommended. Mine approved already. I was in no danger of that though because I remember I had it on PandA and didn't start it until about 15 minutes after it had been accepted. My rule of thumb to avoid rejections is to cook the timer until the pay is under $9/hr (so if I finish a $1.50 study in 7 minutes I'll wait until the timer hits at least 10 minutes before submitting)
