When something goes wrong with a HIT, how do you prefer to resolve it?

When something goes wrong with a HIT, what was the best resolution you've ever gotten from a requester? Sometimes the HIT expires too soon to submit, sometimes you forget to paste the code, whatever. Assuming it was an honest mistake, and assuming the requester is also honest, what's the best way a requester has solved the problem? How did you end up getting credit, money, etc? We've all seen the rejection-reversal, and that is excellent, but what else have you seen?

    Thanks!

If it expired too soon, I would try to work faster next time. If I forgot to paste the code, I would either contact them or not. It would probably depend on my mood at the time. I wouldn't expect good results in either situation, but you never know. The only time I've ever contacted about something like this was a survey I forgot to take before I submitted it. Obviously I couldn't have the code if I hadn't taken survey first. I was approved. I'm assuming the reason is that the options the requester has in that situation are pretty limited and/or they weren't even paying attention.

I've hit submit too soon and immediately contacted the requester to let them know I didn't mean to submit that hit. The hit was still rejected but the requester knew why part of the fields weren't filled in and I knew to be sure not to do that again.
