So there's this rule insurance companies have. If your car is totaled, they'll only pay for a rental for a week. Even if the accident wasn't your fault. If the car is in the shop, they'll pay for a rental indefinitely. Well, that's what Geico and Progressive told me. Insurance companies suck.
