the only other thing would be a particular hit that is connecting to a lagged server.
the Hit timer won't start till the Hit body is finished loading.
so it could appear to be stuck at zero then jump.
    this doesn't cause problems usually,
you only really care in the last minute of a hit.
not sure why it doesn't get mentioned more often.
too many variables, browser, OS, server lag, which Hit etc etc

I think I'm stopping before the time change to the next day. Would have been nice to finish the batch before it though.

More seriously, I have a couple friends and family who have narcolepsy, and they make some pretty good drugs that can help with that if you can get a prescription. One is Modafinil, but I'm not sure about the names of the others. They don't have the jittery side-effects that the ADHD medication usually has, and they'll keep you awake and alert.

That's only if you want to turn to prescription drugs, though. You might also try polyphasic sleeping, since there's really no downside to that as a professional turker. I'm skeptical about whether or not that really works if you're not already an insomniac, but I think they make apps for that.

Yeah don't really want to use any medication but I have looked into polyphasic sleeping. I forget which popular internet guy does it but it seems like it works pretty well for him

have you tried quiet? turn off TM/HM whatever other interruption you have going?
    this could nosedive your productivity
you might just have to decide which is worse, poor sleep or poorer PE
(guessing here obviously. all the standard disclaimers apply)

As in lack of noise? No interruptions to sleep other than I usually get up to go to the bathroom once or twice.

Are you thinking of Tim Ferris, from fourhourworkweek.com? I know that he's been a strong proponent of it in the past. A few others have as well.

I really think that people who do well on it are people who already have insomnia and struggle with a "normal" sleep schedule, so it might not be right for you guys. I just figured that I'd toss it out there from one turker to another.

Could you have an iron deficiency? That can cause fatigue. It could be so many things, though.

You might try taking just a simple daily multi-vitamin (which will have iron) if you don't have the best diet. It's worth a shot. If that doesn't help, I'd go to a doctor, just to be safe.

I had my blood tested 4 times last year and the only thing unusual was my calcium levels were high in one of them. Apparently I'm somehow in good health according to them. Had chest xrays and a head CT too because of chest pain. I don't know.

    Probably dying of something.

You'll probably outlive us all! :)

Seriously, though, I hope you can find out what's causing it. Being tired all the time is just draining in itself.

Anyone want to make the thread for tomorrow (4/17)?

If anyone wants to make it, please reply quoting this post, and then saying 'I'll make it for (4/17)' so that people will know
