I guess I am going into sour grapes territory, but I get annoyed at seeing HIT after HIT on the "Great HITs" thread that only those with some kind of Master's qual can take? Shouldn't you be circle jerking each other on your own forum?
Most of the HITs posted here are for US only. This is primarily a US forum. Everyone should know this going in. Masters is some dubious qual that nobody knows how to get or why they got it. They have unique access to their own forum which nobody else can access. I'm just saying, don't clutter things up here.

Yeah, and a lot of the HITs there require specific requester quals, or at least 1000 HITs or 5000 HITs, or 95% approval, or females only, or must be between 18 and 30, or a variety of other things. If a HIT doesn't apply to you, keep scrolling and look for another. But if you want to make a "HITs that don't require Masters qual" thread, I don't think anyone here is stopping you.
I haven't leached (sic) off anybody, but I don't try to post things that are irrelevant except to the elite few. I'm alwys looking for relevant things that I can post here that are helpful.
If you would quit worrying about the things you can't control and work so you can earn your Masters, you might then know when you receive the email there is a Private forum for Masters.
People don't even think about what their particular qualifications are. Probably not even Masters after a while. They see a hit that they like and they pass it on.
I don't see what the big deal is. The people that post Master's stuff are the ones that also post great normal HITs, too. Personally, I would not have been this successful at turking thus far without their help/posts in general. So can't complain. Even though it might not be relevant to me right now, as other people have said, we can just keep scrolling. It's not as if there is page after page in a row of just Master stuff. Plus I think it will be helpful to have it all in one thread for when I eventually get the qual (hopefully someday!)
I do every post I can do to best of my ability. What else can I do? Curious, are you the same poster who publshed some kind of epic farewell a couple of weeks ago?
What is a Mechanical Turk Master? Masters are elite groups of Workers who have demonstrated accuracy on specific types of HITs on the Mechanical Turk marketplace. Indeed it is. By the way... I like chocolate pudding. Also, could people stop posting HITs for men only because... well, I'm not a man. Oh, also, maybe y'all could stop posting HITs that leave out people in my age range? I'm 40 by the way.. so all these 18 - 30 HITs really do me no good. Hrm, while we're at it maybe we could just take a running tally of the qual's everyone has.. and we can make the Great HITs thread for each day only contain HITs with those specific quals? That way everyone gets their own day! What? That seems fair right?!
I think I'll post another scathing indictments of Master's soon since I feel free to trash them as long as I am not included. The only other thing I'll say is if you havve these type of comments to make, post them here and don't clutter up the HITs thread with them.
