Mad Man was good, but it did get pretty shitty towards the end. I still haven't seen the wire. It's on my list. Game of Thrones is seriously good though, Jenni! Check that shit out.
When you watch The Wire, the thing to know is that it basically starts you off in the middle of life. There's no plot building at the start and there are no flashbacks, you're just in the hood in Baltimore. It's a slow burn and a lot of people lose interest. It's fairly complex and there are probably two dozen "main" characters. The show isn't something that everyone will enjoy, but it's the best cop drama by a pretty wide margin. Edit: The other thing to know is that the good guys will do bad things and the bad guys will do good things. That's the point. In real life, very few people are purely good or bad.
This is the last season of GoT, right? Netflix has spoiled me and I'd prefer to binge-watch it all the way through without having to wait a week between episodes, lol.
I'm getting the weird redirects from this site on my iPad. I had no issues when I peeked in earlier from my PC. I just wanted to confirm something is up since I only saw one other person mention it. Edit: It seems to stop after you make a post so there's the fix I guess.
Oh, I don't plan on watching it on Netlix. I just don't want to start it, potentially get hooked, and then have to wait a week between episodes. I'll start in on it when the series is complete.
I just got an alert via email that today is Jennis birthday (no idea if the alert was timely). I am just popping in to say Happy Birthday from Ha Long Bay Vietnam. Hope you have (or did have) a wonderful day
