Oscar Smith Hits Error Message

yes am facing this problem since yesterday. . might be some error on their side. hope they will rectify it soon.

YA..I am also facing same problem. When I accept a hit, there appears a message in the form of business card saying that " an error occurs, pls apologize for you inconvenience, refresh your page". I don't understand what is the real reason...Any one helps me....

 

I only got one. I refreshed and it was fine.

 

I've gotten a few of these as well. Not sure why this is happening, but it should take care of itself if you refresh the page.

 

For any HIT, not just the Oscars, refreshing the page only assigns you another new HIT. The buggy one still remains in your assigned HITs list and finally gets abandoned since you're not aware of it.

 

It didn't abandon for me. I still have the same number of abandoned hits that I had before this happened. I've actually had it happen once before since that previous post.

 

Just happened again and I still didn't have that problem.

 

I stand corrected. Didn't new Oscar can refresh without assigning a new HIT.

 

If this is the first HIT you have accepted and you refresh it will not assign you a new HIT. If you checked the "Automatically accept the next HIT" box in the previous HIT and refresh your browser it will assign you a new hit each time you refresh.

This is true for any HIT. Not Just Oscar's.

If you've lost your place and can't remember if you arrived at the HIT by auto accepting the previous one you can look up at the html. If you see "autoAcceptEnabled=true" after the "groupId" you will receive an additional new HIT if you refresh.

I've had problems with Oscars HIT's as well. When I refresh I get "Ms Vi's" over & over!

 

I have the same problem and I get Ms. Vi's over and over as well lol...btw, this is my first post here. Been lurking awhile, just started turking about 2 weeks ago

 

Yeah, thanks, I completely forgot about the first HIT exception. Since you've brought up the URL discussion, I'll add a few more points to it. For every HIT, when you accept the first one, there will be a HIT ID in the URL field like this: hitId=2TXFIDN23DCD2EO8R9KUIAR13S3
This is what preventing the assigning of subsequent HITs when you refresh the page. You'll only see this message when you refresh any HIT with the specific hitID in the URL:

In the case of all the other HITs that don't have IDs in their URL, it will assign a new HIT each time you refresh.

 

I woke up this morning to a Quality score of 97 with Oscar Smith! I think part of it has to do with me switching from a laptop based keyboard platform to my new wireless keyboard and mouse. My keystrokes are a lot faster and more accurate.

Wonder if I can actually get this Trusted Worker Qualification? heh

 

Hmmm. I'm getting the same error, the same card appearing over and over again. Mine is the one from, heh, High Times Magazine. I have to admit that it makes me chuckle quite a bit. But super annoying, since Oscars are what I do when batches/surveys are slow.

 

Same for me. Same card keeps apearing. Not to mention it is the Ms. Vi card. I can't get my auto fill settings to stop changing the first letter to a capital, so I know Oscar docked me on a point which sucks, because my goal is to get a Quality score of 99. I'm going to wait till the glitch gets fixed so I don't mess up my current quality score.

 

As far as I know Oscar always changes the first letter to a capital. I don't have auto fill.
