Yeah bro finally got it I told u yeah my account is at SBT Ernakulam but i depositted cheque at calicut..I think that was the reason for delay...Next time i"ll try with deposit at ekm and see how it works out...I think citibank is there only at cochin and not in calicut and hence was the further delay

Thanx for the link...I think nadiya sis gave the cheuqe directly to the manager and got it creditted...But i gues that involve some transaction charges I also learned from web that we can cash it out directly from citibank but tht might involve too some transaction fees
For me it took just 2 days for the check to get cleared. I deposited the check on Tuesday morning and by Thursday I had the money in my account. I have an ICICI Bank account in Mumbai. This was the first check that I received from Mturk But the whole process (right from the day you request the check to the money in your bank account) for me took 29 days exact. I wish Amazon comes up with some online remittance option, which will improve the speed at which one gets paid. They are not using PayPal as it is owned by ebay - a direct competitor. But they should atleast try some other vendor available across the globe.
Tru my friend...not paypal...but there are many other options like alertpay,liberty reserve ...money bookers..etcetra...But the main probs is paypal is most suiatble for indians..I recev all my ptc earnings thru paypal and its so convenient u know
