I've spent most of my energy the last couple of days looking for one of those job thingies, but I think it's been good.
Not bad. Took some Autocad classes. Looking for a job doing that. As a Houstonian, enjoying the Rockets beating the Spurs and Astros beating the Rangers.

Got the message when I logged onto online banking so I am pretty sure it is legit. No emails or anything like that. btw, a little irony there in how they let me know. Given the problem was my not using old-school banking, a nice certified letter would have been appropriate. Or a telegram perhaps. And a big thanks to momentsthatbomb for the explanation. Wasn't sure how much was WF being stupid and how much was outdated laws. The account is nearly 30 years old (and has gone through a couple of changes in company due to mergers, buyouts, etc) so yeah, I am sure a bunch of archaic laws apply. At least they let me know before my money was seized. I'll just have to remember to freak someone out by paying with a check once in a while. lol
I need a new job. Banking in this economy is depressing. "No, sir, you can not use a 20 year old four wheeler and your first born as collateral. We require something of actual value, and your baby is really ugly." So ready to be done with school and get a grown up job. I hope you find something soon!
Eventually yea. I did drafting before I got into the oil and gas industry many years ago. Hopefully I can find a company to grow with like the last one.

I just finished my master's research and thesis on autism genetic research, specifically UBE3A. It's under peer review now. Hopefully somebody over there is asleep at the wheel and they give me a shiny piece of paper with my name on it. Ideally, I would like to stick with clinical research on genetic mutations. Somewhere where they give me a fancy lab coat with my name embroidered on it.
