I got 1 mismatch and none of those funky letters. I've been away from medcrowd for a month. The quality has improved two fold. I keep a close eye on lady dentists because they get married and take on their spouse's name and it might look like the wrong person. keep an eye out for those guys.
Those and dentists who use their middle name instead of their legal first name are two things where checking the street address helps.
Seriously? A freaking mismatch at step 4?? I was thinking that things were a bit better until now. *sigh*
Thinking about moving to the west coast so I don't have to do these during dinner time. I'm so hungry.
I drop off sometime between 7 and 8 usually, so I don't usually do much of step 5. I know that tonight once my pizza gets here that I'm done for the night.
I'm on Mountain time, so step 5 usually isn't too much of a problem. And we're pretty casual about dinner, so if I get hungry enough, I'll just eat something at my desk. I did have to take time off this afternoon to shovel snow, though. I seriously dislike winter.
FWIW, I'd emailed Mark about this a few weeks ago and was told that we should be flagging these to be pulled from the batches. And of course, before that clarification, I'd been encountering them regularly and since, I think I've had a total of 1. Figures.
Interesting that you all feel that Wednesday was better than Tuesday. I guess one way to slice the pie is to see who worked yesterday vs who worked Tuesday. ~ Mark L.
Given the below information, Answer the following question: Is this the correct website? Matthew D Schieber DDS 1869 N 68th St Milwaukee, WI 53216 http://omahakidsdentist.com/ ~ Mark L.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=Clint%20A%20Wilber+DDS+Norfolk+NE&oq=an&gs_l=hp.3.3.0l10.4855.7615.0.9975.10.6.4.0.0.0.66.347.6.6.0...0.0...1c.v6NNTG0AKI8 What's wrong with the 1st result on this page? ~ Mark L.
Same name, and though the addresses don't match, the dentist seems to have done a dental residency in Milwaukee (city in the original address) and moved back to Omaha, where he was born. I'd say correct website. The google result lists the doctor's name and the address matches, but if you actually go to the website (or look at the URL), it's actually a practice for a dentist named Adam Langan, and nobody named Clint Wilber is even mentioned anywhere on the site, much less reported to work there.
Also, In the future (if it hasn't already been stated), do not indicate that a "base" URL or "core" url was not provided. When you leave a comment, the HIT drops from the batch. If the website is correct then you just cut off work for yourself and others. ~ Mark L.
To piggy back on this point. If there is not Doctor Bio, but you can verify they work there, don't leave a comment that there is no bio. If there is truly no bio, and you mark it all as n/a w/o a comment, I'm not going to come after you rofl. ~ Mark L.
I think the "Comment" field should be renamed "Reason this HIT should be dropped from the batch". I don't think everybody is going to get that comments drop a HIT otherwise.
Yes, or I can expand the drop down options for the URL / Site issues and then make the comment field not drop the HIT. Gotta figure out which requires less work haha. ~ Mark L.
If the provider is on the site, but not at the location we list (and its obvious its the right person because its in a similar location or state even) don't drop the record for that reason.
No regular batch this week guys. Apologies, there was an operational hiccup internally and due to new database development I have to wait to get the files I need to create these batches for you! Hope for the best for next week! ~ Mark L.
