Sometimes I wonder if $20 on a Sunday is an impossible goal. Especially since Marcus is being so stingy.

 

Here's a hint. There are hits that post all day and evaporate in seconds. I call those hits the "Higgs Boson" hits/particles of the Mturkverse. They are there, you rarely see them, but they are there (at least theoretically). And some of them are lucrative.

One thing you can do when it's slow is to set "newest hits available" to 2 seconds and see the newest hits that post.

If you click on something and it disappears instantly, chances are that's a lucrative hit (hence why it disappears so quick). And maybe, just maybe, it posts throughout the day. Set a PANDA to catch that hit and voila, you may have found a lucrative hit that post all day.

 

one such hit that I'm capturing right as we speak is called "Family Search Photos MT". But it's masters only. Been capturing that 3 cent hit for a few hours now. those pennies add up.

They are masters and closed qualification hits, no point in sharing those for the majority.

I bet you if anyone knows what Im talking about it is frog-man. He sees and knows everything.

 

I re-read this and it dawned on me: Masters has become a closed qualification! They haven't given it out in ages.

It's like having a closed qual within a closed qual

 

Anyways, that infinite guy left without saying anything. He didn't like my advice I guess.

 

Funny enough Turkor that's how I have my HitScraper setup right now. I've snagged some stuff that way since it's easier to grab anything I can, and return the few I can't do (no where near the 3800 daily limit).

The only downside of pandaing everything this is that it slows down the grab rate the more jobs you have. I didn't find this out until last Thursday when I have 100 jobs queued up, and was confused why the small, but constant, HITs weren't coming through.

Does anyone happen to know a good replacement for Turkmaster so I can go back to using Crazy Panda for the batches and something else for the one and done HITs?

Oh, I really believe I am. I'm just trying to pick up as much of this as possible while I'm between jobs. It's why I'm pushing so hard to reach the ceiling of what I can make.

So yes, please any advice you have, I'd like it.

 

I think downloading a good hit scraper is a good one.

Getting a programmable mouse (so you can do things with one click) is a good one.

Try work with dual monitors (or more).

Learn autohotkey (also known as "AHK"). That will create keyboard shortcut so you can copy + paste with one click (programmable mouse does same thing, but in conjunction, it's even more powerful)
