That they've somewhat mitigated the problem by limiting the damage to the batch causing the load is not a bad thing. Otherwise the whole platform grinds to a halt when A9 posts. They seem to be missing the obvious next step though... 5 minutes to design a script that can be turned on in these circumstances and which simply does a page refresh every time it sees the no more HITs message. Result: even more load!
Have any of you ever considered putting Mturk on your resume since it technically is working? Has anyone ever done this and what type of response did you get during an interview?
I haven't, but just trying to articulate it to my friends is hard enough when they haven't had any exposure to it before, I can only imagine what it would be like to a potential employer during an interview which can tend to be stressful enough as is.
You could, but I wouldn't recommend listing it as Mturk. You could go with freelancing or self-employment and just describe the work you do. It'll go on mine if I ever get a 9-5 (ugh, gag) again.
No, but I'm new at turking anyway. I worked in a narrow field in the O&G industry. I'm a little concerned about confusing potential employers.

Yeah I've always considered Mturk workers to be freelance contractors/crowdsource workers. It sounds like something that'd be great for filling employment gaps.

Did someone have a PickFromAbove expire while they were working on it? I just grabbed one and it was at 44 of 50. Its only $0.40 but I personally would of been a little ticked off if it happened to me lol.
