Random observation: if you hover the mouse over the "23 minutes ago" of a recent post it'll tell you the actual time of the post. A bit easier to work with if you want to figure out when a HIT might be expiring out of people's queues.
The new forum software deanimated it. It was no longer sufficiently annoying. I'll work on a replacement. Gimme a year or three.
Speaking of preferences, is this software "you'll have 20 posts per page and you'll like it" or is that changeable? Couldn't find anything. They seem to have made some odd choices on options. Very details for some things, non-existent for others. At least we made if off the page with the cat gif. (Sorry, it was funny, but enormous. Absolute best case scenario, a 70 second download with my internet. And Chrome wasn't caching it so every time I refreshed the page it downloaded it again.) The old forum had a no-images option that turned them into links. Quick loading but I could still peek at the images if I wanted.

No way to change number of posts per page. This forum doesn't have a lot of stuff such as animated avatars, 40 posts per page, etc that we were able to have in the old forum.
It's not a bug. All that stuff is extra with this forum software. They are add ons that the owner has to buy. Maybe in time, he'll get some things added on.
