Not really true. The internet here is good, but not super fast or anything. Cost of Living is fairly cheap though.

I pay about 80 bucks a month for 50 down personally.

You got a blog? Sign up as an Amazon affiliate and toss a few product reviews n thangs on your blog. Include your affiliate links.

Amazon's one of the better affiliate programs to run with due to the fact that the cookie will apply to any product on the site - not just the one you've specifically linked to. The commissions are on the lower side at like 4% or whateva, but getting commission from someone buying a blender when you were talking about the new COD makes it kinda worth it.

*says the girl who *STILL* hasn't finished setting up her blog yet.

Hey, anything is fine. Watch as you wish. I just wanted to make sure it was known that you shouldn't try to help someone by clicking ads fraudulently. Besides, the monetary gain from doing something like that is so minimal its not worth even trying.

I have friends who have lost their adsense accounts because trolls/enemies "click-bombed" their Adsense accounts and Google thought the account owner was doing that to earn extra money. In the end, they were screwed and lost their ability to earn money from the videos they had put out over a few years time.

    *dieeeeeeeees*

That's not even the worst part. The definite and indefinite articles have (and can change) gender depending on the noun. So can the adjectives. Omg, that's where I totally started flipping tables. I should ask BloodRayen to explain that to me because I was too busy raging during class to understand WHY this has to be a thing.

But yeah - the red car - "the" and "red" will become neutral. The orange cat - "the" and "orange" become feminine. I think they also take on plurals, too.

    I can't even.

Thank's, I tried the affiliate program before. I am not much of a fan of having a blog for the sake of having a blog to use the amazon affiliate program as revenue. In my experience, it doesn't often work. You are much better off using a blog as a vehicle to help promote a product, ebook, or service that you offer, and then utilizing the Amazon Affiliate program to supplement that to earn revenue from the blog.

Plus it's too much work. With youtube, I am earning money off of videos I uploaded 2 years ago without having to do any more work at all. Passive income, if you want to grow it you can keep uploading videos. Or just reap the benefits of the work you already uploaded.

edit: I just want to say I know it is possible to do the affiliate program with multiple blogs and earn a lot of cash if done right. Not discrediting that. It is just a whole lot of work for most people. But if done right, can work well too.

Yep that's very true. Those narrowly focused affiliate blogs are irritating. I meant a well-rounded blog you could work some affiliate offers into in a way that it makes sense. Like a food/recipe blog - add a few cookbook reviews, etc. That kind of thing. Not just a link farm. I'd never advise anyone to go that route *gag* But yeah, blog maintenance is a PIA. I spent days and days renovating mine on the design side and I still haven't gotten around to writing articles yet. Complete makeover/reboot. So much work.

YouTube is a good way to go, though. I'm not fond of making videos personally (though it would be bloody hilarious), but people seem to do very well with it.

Agreed on the blogs. I have a few friends that do RV-related blogs sharing tips with other RV dwellers and they do very well with it. If you can build a niche following, chances are they are likely to help by purchasing some stuff through your affiliate link. That's key, to have a dedicated following.

And hey, you should just give videos a go too. It would be hilarious and I would watch it daily - if my internet cooperates.
