Yep. That being said, I always watch the Macy's parade just because I feel like I should. I do, however, kind of like the Rose Bowl Parade because I enjoy seeing the floats (once again a tradition that, for whatever reason, I cannot tear myself away from).
I asked my kids if they cared about it. One said "huh? What is it? OH! No." The other said "Balloon parade!!!" so I felt like I HAD to turn it on. He declared it boring after 2 seconds so I got to turn it off
I remember Faith protesting the parades last year too. Only I think it was the Christmas parade. They are both equally useless unless you're there in person to enjoy it IMO. But it's like the traditional background noise.
