If you took calculus in college and said that you would never have to use it again, this HIT proves you wrong: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/accept?...rZafUAC9XMBCHV+Gpg=&/accept.x=33&/accept.y=11 For the princely sum of 30 cents, you get to do a calculus problem similar to what you would encounter in a second-quarter calculus class. And by Jove, I think I got the right answer.
Yet, I can truly understand. Thinking about it, it makes perfect sense. Amazon doesn't say what the qualifications are for Masters. Some people have 10K hits or even 100K hits done and no masters. Others 1K hits and BAM, Masters gets dropped on them. Does this suggest that Masters is completely random or does quality have something to do with it? No one knows and Amazon isn't telling. If Masters is truly random, then it would make sense for Masters requesters test the differences between both types of workers. Why pay more for the same results? Catch my drift?
Nah... More like this guy.

Anyone know how to block these hits that are for specific workers on mturk? For example: Dummy HIT - please only take this HIT if you have been asked to do so - otherwise you'll be rejected(~ 100 minutes) If I use the block title feature, will it just block that specific title from that requester? That would be fine if that's the case. edit: in retrospect that seems like a silly question, to rephrase somewhat, will it block that specific title from someone, or will it block the keywords included in the title as well?
People were having problems getting by a page with a birth day problem the other day. Iirc the pay was good for the time. If you cant get by the DOB page use 01/01/19XX with the XX being your birth year. And yeah its pretty quick especially if you read fast.
How is it unfair that they are conducting a study? You probably shouldn't have posted that part. Other requesters have done the exact same thing to test difference in work. There are a fair amount of studies already done on the exact same topic. I'll agree that the spread is significantly higher than other surveys that have tested the difference though.
if you're talking about the hit db or hit scraper blocking; it's by title, for any requester. a loophole in both hit db & scraper will show that you have done a hit for a requester even if the hit you did was for another requester. with generic titles like "answer a survey" you can't assume you have done the hit for that requester without checking.
What's a wvi? Also i noiced crowdsourced bailed on mturk entirely and require a paypal for poayment now XD
They're qualled, lookin pictures of kids for a charity. Boring but good ass money and they almost always post at night when everyone else with the qual is sleepin lol
STW Researcher has a bunch of short surveys if you haven't done them all yet. I've been using them instead of a throwaway to get past capchas. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&requesterId=A3U6CFSWL9GOK7
