haha no. far from all day. Since I had to stop in May b/c of a kid I'm maybe paying attention to HS maybe 4 hours a day.

 

He does not. But he should. And is one reason why he feels so strongly about masters being able to make more without working as long as they say they do, when a nonmaster can make more than that.

 

I think he was mostly commenting to the person saying that you have to work all day long to get that and then you get burnt out.

 

Think he was asking about Pennywise and yes she does have masters or at least as far as I know she has masters, yeah she has to since she works on Tates. I do not have masters and that somewhat angers me but eventually I'll get over it, get masters, or die.

Not necessarily. Not everyone likes working on the same kind of stuff. And all Masters hits certainly aren't all alike just because they're Masters.

You see what Penny posts about and what she likes to do. Sounds like she likes the super quick, mindless hits that take a couple seconds or less. A tiny bit of typing or clicking and done. Those aren't going to pay the same as the other hits that ask you to dig all over the web searching for CEO contact info. Or long surveys. Or app testing. Or sentence comparison or whatever else.

Not everyone's got the patience for all that.

yes I've been quite stabby feeling over things like that myself. I've had to get over it too cause it annoys me more than it should at times. In the end, I remember we can all turk how we want I guess. I'd feel less annoyed if I had masters. lol

 

Penny is a chick. THAT is why I got confused because of the "same guy" thing. I knew I had a reason for thinking that was to Twird! LOL

But even in that group I'm fairly sure there have been numerous cata batches or sentiment batches this week for masters. Those are also incredibly quick and relatively mindless and should net way more than 100 in a week.

I get do your own turk. Think I'm just a bit salty that July was my worse month turking in a long time and my research has been going nowhere. Just feeling a bit stalled.

Having masters would definitely soothe my anger. Would also allow me to refocus onto something more deserving. (stupid google won't let me type aether but doesn't correct me when I use the wrong sooth, sooth is archaic so why didn't it try and tell me it was wrong)

 

You're teaching in the prime of the turk day aren't you though? That would make it incredibly difficult to make a lot I would think.

 

There have been. There were all kinds of quick and brainless hits this week. Sentiments, giphy, etc. Maybe she did some. Maybe she didn't. So what?

Right. It's totally annoying seeing all this work that we would love to be able to do, but yet we can't because of reasons unknown lol That's the part that stings the most. Hard not to feel bitchy about that from time to time. (and for me it's mostly feeling bitchy towards Amazon really)

 

A little bit. I teach from 11-12 and since I don't have a car I have to leave my apartment at 10:15 or so to catch the bus. All EST. I know I've missed some stuff than but was teaching at the same time in June and May and had no problems. Heck I've had class at that time for a long time and no problem. Just last month was hard on me. I think I broke 1k but just barely for the entire month. Pretty sure I earned about the same that month, maybe a bit more, as I earned in one week in June.
