One it is smaller and more easily ignored. Two people can easily hide avatars without having any negative effect in the ability to read the forum. Three goes with the first it is small so it is difficult to actually see what exactly the image is, on the larger image you can see that it is a man with a flesh mask stitched onto their face. Some people do not like violent imagery and find it significantly worse than nudity. I don't have children but if I did I'd far prefer they see a near nude woman than a violent image.
He's upset that I made the comment that his smaller, more pixelated avatar isn't noticable by people who have a dislike of horror/gore, but a more blown up gif of it shows that it's a flesh mask in great detail IS noticable It's a mountain out of a mole-hill, a mod has stepped in, the topic is waaay over done, it's time to put the soap box away

You really don't see how a skin face mask depicts violence? While technically many people building suits like these from grave robbing, for instance Ed Gein got most of his things from grave robbing rather than murder, there is a clear implication that a person was murdered to build the face mask.

I don't get the whole appeal of him. and he has been posted for DAYS. but, I am not a part of that scene, and I don't care to be. and it's not an image of some guy that hacked the flesh off of someone and made a mask. It's latex. It's from a movie. It is all special effects. Seriously. You say flesh mask like I am posting serial killer murder images.
So apparently my google chrome just died.
