Mine shows that I have it when I look in my qualifications, but it also says, qualified users: 0. Maybe a requester can hide that number?
I was among the first group of people handed a masters, and those of us who got it compared notes and figured out we'd all completed a set of qualifying hits posted by Amazon Requester. They supposedly still post the categorization qualifiers on Tuesday mornings, but good luck finding them.
That's okay, the other night I took it and got a really crummy score. Like 250-something. Then two hours later I took it again with the same answers and got a 327. I think it's screwed up. I'm pretty sure I answered them the same this morning as well and got a 330. The OCD in me is not feeling this at all.
Are you talking about these? https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&requesterId=A2VZU2Q1H3Y2KA
.75 cent survey. Took me 8 minutes. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...rds=walker+sands&minReward=0.00&x=-1180&y=-89
Very. The old one was more hidden, wasn't it? Or did it just block java? We use java for an application at work...we had to upgrade to 22 to address security issues and when it required us to remote in and configure FF to make the app work, uh, that was a horrible day. I finally told people to use IE10. :\
Old one was system wide instead of site specific. Now if they'd just take a page from Flashblock and do it per instance... I tend to block autoplaying videos on sites (here's looking at you news websites!) so I never see it ever again.
Title: singer try outs 8.00 bunes if pick Requester: brian masters [A0120036HPT4P4RQW56] (TO) Description: singer try outs Reward: $0.35 Qualifications: Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2S2V2E3PFY5NGJKG03WT6MNHX4H593 Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys This requester has three HITs posted. Looks like the possible bonuses are decent if you can figure out what the hell he's talking about.
That's the right requester. But whether or not any of those batches are the qualifiers for a masters, I don't know. Why they can't just tell a person 'these are the hits that qualify you for a masters', is one of turking's enduring mysteries.
Running off to Walmart and when I return I'll be testing out Qualtrics to learn how to do a survey! Will post some tests later for you guys to do too!
Yeah, I hate those. Local news site had them and the stories would auto play, usually leading with an ad that had a pretty loud volume. Open the site and BLARING music. I don't mind playing w/o music but having the music auto play, well, that kills my stealthiness during meetings when I'm supposed to be paying attention to crap I don't care about.
"send email 30 sec u sing say mturk try out first email you the song if pick" Gotta figger out those instructions.
Maybe he wants us to send him an email consisting of a 30 second sound clip of us singing the word "Mturk", and then he'll email us another song to sing for 8 bucks if he picks our submission. Or we send the email address, then he sends his, then we sing, and then we sing again for the bonus. I don't know.
Better yet tell us why many others have had a Masters Qualificaton without ever doing any Amazon Requester "Qualification Hits."
.75 cents for 25 minutes of sheer Bubble Hell. It's still three quarters more than I had before though. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&requesterId=A1VHJWXVK9FR2Y
