I just did the sound HIT where you have to listen to and evaluate sounds. For some reason, it won't let me submit it. Nothinghappened when I completed it, and there's no submit option. I sent the requester a note. What should I do? Return it? Or do it again?

I feel so safe knowing you're nearby. I wonder if the insect is sleeping. Maybe I can crawl into my bed and hope to survive the night...

I agree. That's what makes it kinda stupid, lol. Can confirm. I'm pretty sure Calebro knows who I be.
There has to be someone that would be interested in taking the platform off of their hands? A lot of the major techs are already using the platform. Seems like Google could buy it for a pittance from Amazon. Don't know if there is any IP attached, that would make a purchase necessary.
Google does seem like the obvious candidate, and probably the best for us. I think it's fairly obviously that Amazon wishes they'd never started this project, though. It's clearly not a huge money maker for them, but they don't want to give it up because it might make money in a few years. That's my view.

I haven't posted any in a while, had some personal issues I needed to deal with. I hope all you guys are doing well and making them big dollars. I see Newton has been kicking ass and turking like there is no tomorrow, good job bro on that streak of 100's, wish I liked doing the Rileys or I coulda had $100 today pretty easy. l I spent about 2 hours turking around lunch and made a killing on the OCMP6 batch and on a 17-minute, $15 survey I had qualified for. That's basically all I did besides a few John Smith's and here's where I checked out at: Projected Earnings for Today $71.37 Shoulda pushed for 100 but that's what tomorrow is for, right?

I think they've kept it alive for the cache it brings them. They don't really have their fingers in the academic side of tech. Mturk has given Amazon the ability to be mentioned along side some innovative research that utilized the platform. Beyond that, I don't think they care about it at all. I can't imagine they lose money on the project, unlike many of their other forays. There is almost zero user support on either side so that can't be costing them. Maybe a few devs and an admin or two and that's their entire Mturk department. I've only been on the platform since 2012 but I haven't seen much change that could be labeled as innovation to support their claims of such. I took a cursory glance at the patent database and couldn't find anything specific for Amazon related to Mturk but they might have oddly worded patents on it that would make it hard to find. I am curious, though, what if any Intellectual Property is tethered to the platform. I think that's the only thing that would give it value to an outside interest.
It's a flying insect. I hope the spider living in my room eats it, but it's much bigger than the spider...
Amazon doesn't want to give up anything they make money on even if it's very little. They are in it for the long haul, they lose money every year so they can't give up something that brings in money and could bring in a lot more in the future. If they mess up and someone starts another one and steals their customers though they will regret it. Edit: Maybe they are trying to make some improvements to it and that is why there is that big job opening. We can only hope. Too bad I don't have the qual or live in the right area.
