I don't think I've ever met a bouncer who wasn't cool, but sometimes they have to act like they're uncool due to the nature of the job. One time I was at a club in Tampa and the bouncer just happened to be from the same town in Michigan and we knew some of the same people, so he VIP'd me and hooked me up with free drinks.
