Thanks, didn't see the "None of the Above" option the first time. Won't submit unless you check something.
OK, so check Gluten if the product contains wheat. How about "Manufactured on equipment that processes milk" - check dairy or not?
Yep, I've also been marking yes on "Manufactured on equipment that processes peanuts" and similar. Don't want to mess around with food allergens.
Is coconut a tree nut? I have one where the label specifies "processed on equip that may have touched coconut" I guess to be on the safe side, I will check tree nuts
Coconut is not a botanical nut; it is classified as a fruit, even though the Food and Drug Administration recognizes coconut as a tree nut. While allergic reactions to coconut have been documented, most people who are allergic to tree nuts can safely eat coconut. so.... I'm still not sure?
I'm not able to do grocery hits either. But I'm not masters Really I can't believe I still don't have it, I've been turking since 2012
Just cause.....I'm from Milwaukee
TIL I learned PAM has both gluten and soy in it. Weird. I looked it up too--decided not to mark tree nut, since apparently people with tree nut allergens can eat them. I'd assume if they wanted us to look for a coconut allergy, they'd list it, hopefully. I sent a message about that though.
Did anyone else get a rejection from a requester by the name of "S.O.?" I try very hard not to do repeat surveys, and a lot of times I throw them back if they seem even a little bit familiar, but I guess this one got past me. I wish all requesters would have those automatic screeners so this wouldn't happen because sometimes it's hard knowing for sure. *sigh*
It wouldn't hurt to explain your situation and see if you can offer them money for a reversal. Also if you use HIT DB if you've done work for requesters they show up green on the search page
