    Einstein's pacifism is laudable, but it was largely in the context of the Cold War, not WW2 -- very different contexts. The idea that he would have encouraged everyone to respond to Hitler with flowers and the power of song is not accurate, at all. A cartoon from 1933:

    I'm somewhat liberal, but I think it's funny that anyone thinks there's any way to respond to Hitler and ISIS (and they are somewhat similar) except to shoot them in the face.

    Don't want to bomb Iran? Fine! They're pretty normal, except they like to play with nukes for leverage.

    Don't want to bomb ISIS? Then I don't know what the hell you're thinking.

    Going to sleep, but still waiting on the source of that quote...?
