Does anyone know if the CATS are a one time thing or if he is using them to determine a qual for future HITs? I guess I could email him myself, but wondering if anyone else asked before I bug him again.
Oh wait. I have MTurk HIT DataBase Chrome Fix (1.7) so maybe you are right in saying maybe the fix doesn't have it or something. Oh well. It'd sure be nice to have but I'm not gonna worry anymore about it. Does anyone know if the maker of that script is still around because it seems like everyone is having problems with the database in general?
ok, between the Paris ones before, and London tonight, it shows I did 302 of them, and 2 are pending, so I guess that would make sense with a cap around 300. I've never seen that before, the only other block I've ever had was the l2w that I've seen many people on the forum post about. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Thanks for the response/explanation.
I have the fix and the goal bar. The original maker hasnt been active in a while and the person who did the fix hasnt been around either i dont think squirrly? or something like that.
Even though it says I have downloaded the Hit DataBase and it shows up on my Mturk dashboard it doesn't show up in my list of extension, on Chrome. Could that be the problem?
Oh hell no. 4 in a row is masochistic enough. I did one this morning and about 350 TOTW and a few other things in between, I'm saving the last 2 for tomorrow. Gotta have something to do on a Sunday. My advice to you is to drink heavily.
I don't know if this info will help anyone, but I have never had a problem with the Database since I installed it months ago. The version of Chrome I use is Version 30.0.1599.10 dev-m, and I'm using the version of the script that is posted in the scripts tab here. I thought it messed up last week, but when I restarted my computer, Java did an update and then it worked again. Now on FF....just today everytime I refresh AMT I get a java error popup. I don't have the energy to fool with it tonight but maybe tomorrow I will fool around with it to find out what the problem is. Have never seen that before tonight.
java is not javascript. has nothing to do with it. the only impact java ever has on anything to do with turking is inquisit and a few hits here and there that run applets.
Working on the HIT format/pay structure. Categorizing Restaurants (12k) based on Social Media activity and foot traffic. Should be done soon. Looking like 0.05 each + optional 0.05 bonus for Owner's name. Doctor HITs after that.
I wanted to let ya all know that Huntington Bank is pretty cool to use to get your mturk earnings. They have an "asterisk-free checking account" that is completely free. No minimum balance. No atm fees. NO BULLSHIT period like most stupid banks. And they have an awesome live chat feature that lets you talk to a real banker any time of day, even on the weekends. I can transfer my earnings and have it on my card the next day. And the Huntington banks that are located in Giant Eagle stores stay open til 8pm as well as late on Saturdays and Sundays. I think they're awesome and I can't stand banks....just letting you guys know
The java error can be fixed, I saw a post for that earlier- I have not had the java error problem myself. The problem that doesn't seem to be a fix for is FF23 and the HIT Database, it just gives you a blank page when clicking on the pink or green buttons to see what HIT's you did for the requester.
Ive had bank of america for a while, theyre pretty quick to **** you on fees though. Im with chase too, just too lazy to order checks :'(
I posted this the other night when we were talking about banks and direct deposits, but all point is a surcharge free atm. I go there for my bluebird card. You can find their locations here http://www.allpointnetwork.com/
I've been pretty good with getting my fees reversed. I just call and call until one of the call center people do it for me. Some of them are chill as hell and others are hard asses.
