Yeah people would be surprised how many extra page request people add. Like https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/6150-mturk-queue-count doubles the number of request for each hit you do.

I think a good test is if you are getting errors on your own navigation on mturk, looking for hits, working the queue, whatever. Last night I had 3 pandas running, two at 2 seconds, one at 1 second and did see a few errors, so that was a bit too agressive, at least for my connection. Generally I have as many as 6 or 8 surveys at ~10-15 seconds, some requester pandas (viral, burke, etc) at speeds 30-300 seconds, and perhaps one faster one at 3 or 4 seconds when needed. If something good shows up, I tend to shut everything down and start a single panda at 1 or 2 seconds. Note this is with turkmaster, which seems to do a pretty good job regulating itself -- you can set a bunch of fast pandas, but if you watch it, they won't run anywhere near as often as you ask. Should be noted I don't use hit scraper or anything else that adds to the load -- I suspect you'd have to back off on the times if something else is sending queries too.
mylike is turning into gore tonight, where's the booty? I don't wanna see this nasty shit with the guy with his leg blown open!
Looks like I'm getting all the booty. That's all I've seen tonight. And a few random pictures not related to anything.
Oh one other things that can contribute lots of page request that people might not notice. If you are doing a significant amount of hits and have any type of today's projected earnings script running you will probably run into max page views when you visit your dashboard, I personally turn it off once I've hit about 600 hits for the day.
I wish I did that 30.00 hit at this time of night instead of catching it at midnight. That was horrrrrrrible.
i saw my weekly earning report and was VERY thankful for that 30.00 or I would have been ever more depressed. I just wish I didn't throw back the 90.00 one. lol
What was the 90 dollar survey anyways. Couldn't imagine wanting to stick with a survey that long unless it was ungodly good paying.
2 page paper for 90 bucks depending on topic that is pretty damn good. What kind of paper was it a research paper or what?
Faithers can answer your question a lot better than I can, but one morning I was lurking on MTG and people were saying it was the hit of the century.
