Excuse me? Why can't we reveal details of the screener when the requester should not be forcing us to accept HITs before qualifying? This makes no sense to me.

  7. forum rules. no information about what hits or screeners contain.

I'm pretty sure 10k doesn't even unlock anything anymore

Probably because that would give people a chance to get around the screener dishonestly.

Discussing any content of a survey here would defeat the entire purpose of having a survey to begin with. It's not against the rules here to say there's an unannounced/unpaid screener but it is against the rules to talk about anything specific.

Because it can tell people what they need to lie about in order to be eligible to finish taking it.

edit: Or what they already said while I was typing :p

I just hit 10,000 about two weeks ago. It opens a little.

Don't bother. I tried. I laughed. I pleaded and begged not to reward that crappy requester. For some reason, the dollar is worth it. *shrug*

Edit: It isn't just keeping it there for a week, either. There's a survey listed at 30 mins involved at the end.

If I wanted to lie about my demo, I already know my demo is almost never part of the screener group anyway. I thought this forum was here to help Turkers and Requesters. You're not helping either by catering to requesters who not only waste our time, but also screw up our return rates.

  19. Please do only take part (1) if you use a computer/laptop, (2) if you didn't already participate in a study on auction biddings within the last month, and (3) if it's daylight outside

    WTF?
