Not bad, not bad. This is probably a ridiculous tip that I just came up with, but maybe we should all take screenshots of our confirmation codes if we ever get rejected? EDIT: Wow, just realized how insanely stupid of an idea this is, gonna leave it up for laughs though.
Ah, that sucks. Worth trying to bring up the issue with them I guess. Not much going on with me, today is such a slow day! @Flow: Definitely not a bad idea
Multi-category Image Tagging Requester: Shenghuo Zhu @ nec-labs Reward: $0.02 per HIT https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview...nec-labs&hitId=2XNP3TVOK5UFVG5BN45O5FYTDG763H These are really easy, they take about 3 seconds each, i've tested a few but the TO for the requester is decent
Only would work with a massive hard drive, considering all the HITs some of us do. Would be time consuming to organize as well.
I did two of these earlier, if they approve, I will do more. Some of the dog pics are too far away to tell, or at a bad angle.
Well yeah, but it's not a bad idea for HITs with questionable TO's, errors, or anything you just don't feel comfortable about. Of course sifting through 1000s of screenshots wouldn't be practical
Not just decent, excellent. I came by to mention them to you guys, too! Requester sounds fair---although I wonder if there's a language barrier in the wording on the HIT. I believe he's trying to tell you when he WILL automatically reject, not reassuring you that he won't. Just my 2c.
I actually might start doing this, two windows split on the screen to get both codes (on survey and on mTurk) then screen-cap and save by date and HIT number. Gives you a lot more leverage against requesters who reject your work. It would take some work, and a good web hosting plan, but it could be made into a website, with logins for screenshot access.
Agree on the time consuming, and probably not worth it to fight a rejected HIT. As far as storage space, though, could use Google Drive or Amazon's equivalent...and doesn't M$ have one, too?
Me, I thought "cowfin!", and then I realized I needed to step away. Although yeah, how funny is it that there's the several dogs...and then the meerkat? Aand goodnight, Flow!
True, and there are screenshot tools that save online automatically, although they have a 100 or so image limit I believe. (ex. Gyazo)
