1 hr. AA? I don't know; like I said, I've seen people say "BIFL" quite a few times on the forum so I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that they were decent HITs and the three that I briefly glanced at said, "Go to X and paste the link to the top 1 product in this box." Seemed okay for 10 cents but I wasn't doing them. Sorry if they weren't worth it.
Yep, they looked plausible to me too, especially since it has been so slow, so nothing to be sorry about. First one asked me to look at hoodies (would that be mens or womens?), next one at electronics and computers (which turned out to be two different categories), final one gave me a category that wasn't listed at all. Don't like that level of uncertainty when it is a requester I haven't worked for before.
Just tried two more. One asked me to go to page 4 when it was one of those pages that keeps loading more as you scroll -- there is no page 4. The second didn't tell me any subcategory, which kinda leaves me hanging. I'd love a batch to work on for a while, but this ain't it.
It's just I have seen many times someone on the forum say "BIFLs" but I've never seen a link to a HIT so perhaps they are not these particular ones? Or maybe they just all go to AA in an hour no matter what you paste? Unsure. The 3 I glanced at said something along the lines of "What are the top 1 product URLs on page 1 of [product] on website.com?" which is why it seemed like a good HIT for 10 cents, but I can see how if the categories don't exist or are vague, they don't make sense. For all I know they AA everything regardless in an hour; no idea and it seems like no one who is more familiar with BIFLs is on ATM.
Just to double check myself, I tried one more. When you go to that page, there is no 'best seller' option, just like on Etsy, the page wants you to choose a brand. No thanks.
Those BIFLs are okay when they're only asking you to search for one product URL. Those that are asking for four? Um, no.
I c/p the category into the search bar to pull that up, then went from there, navigated between tabs using ctrl+tab (forward) and ctrl+shit+tab (backwards), and tab+enter to submit, if that helps anyone. But dog just did the sleepy-sigh, that means it's time for me to sleep. Night all.
Even if you could manage to average 1.5min on those, that's pushing it imo, but if you could do that, you'd be making $4/hour.
