I made it to like 55.00 today. My best day yet! I only made it above 6.00 on the 9th of June, so from June 9th until now... that's not too bad! I'm hoping I can actually make this work for me and my kids and I'm optimistic and determined. I am only a few away from 3k too. 2k to go and I will be happy to stop seeing all of those "must be 5000" haha
You know, I came away from seeing Arlo really kind of sad. In fact, now I'm sad thinking about it. And I really don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm just a few years younger than he is, and prior to the concert, I knew Arlo as he was in the movie and at Woodstock. And out on the stage comes this guy with Arlo hair - but it was WHITE. lol And when the concert was over, he got up from his chair, a little bent over and walking a little stiffly from sitting in the chair for over two hours (minus a short intermission) and I could relate. Maybe it's sad for me because I lived that era - the hippies, the flower children, the Viet Nam War, and now we're all just a bunch of old fogies who aren't as spry as we used to be and who have gray hair (or, as in Arlo's case - white hair) and we know our time has come and gone. Sheesh.....I can't believe Woodstock will celebrate its 45th anniversary next month!
