You should switch the number of pages you see (Settings > General Settings > Posts per page) up to 40, there's only 3 pages for me :3 makes it a little easier.
IIRC it was pretty slow for a while, survey-wise at least, because school was out so there were no studies done. I was still pretty new, only had a few thousand at that point, so I dunno about batches/non-survey work etc.
I'm trying to decide whether or not I should be grinding for the next few days. My eyes are starting to hurt, even with flux. The only thing that seems to help them is when I look at my checking account. It's so weird that like half the forum didn't even know what turk was back then

I wish I'd had found turking sooner. I lost my job and someone from another forum told me I should look into turking. But I would do this even if I did have a job.
LOL, I opened my account in 2010, made about $35, and quit because I didn't know how to use it to effectively make money.
Last December late and into early January were awful last year. Terrible, and I remember most people being the same.
There's a lot of us here who turk at work. #teampaidtogetpaid represent! I enjoy it mainly because it's monetizing my free time. Yes, sometimes it's tedious, but for the most part I can find a task that can keep me sufficiently busy while watching a movie on netflix or something, which normally I would just be sitting idle, so why not make a few pennies here and there? Same at work, my job has a lot of downtime, so while I'm sitting there with nothing to do I'll hang out on here, do a few surveys/etc.
