If i want to request for some threads, can I become a requester while I continue to be a provider too? Say i have a blog and i want to direct traffic to my blog. Can i make a request here?

Do you need any qualifications to become a Requester in MTurk? how do you go about becoming a requeter? Do you have to pay money up front or you pay after people have answered the HITs?

Yes you can have a requestor account and also be a mTurker. Some requestors started out as mTurkers. You would sign up for an account on the main page like you did when you signed up to be a turker.

No reason why you shouldn't. Just use your regular Amazon account like you did when you started being a turker.

Yep, you can do both. Requesters have to prepay for all the HITs they post using credit, debit or a bank transfer. In the past you could fund HITs from your Worker balance, but that doesn't seem to be the case any longer unless I missed it last time I posted HITs.

I don't think it breaks any TOS. I have both a requester and a turker account.
