How do I get the header that give my work ID at the top? I clicked on the link, but I don't understand it. It looks like they want me to download some kind of manager. Thanks
Hello, NateMcCheezy could you guide me? whatever hits may come regularly & daily? i want to earn 200$/month atleast Thanks
Hi there. I hope my questions are not too morronic. I am kind of into writing articles, so I've seen that crowdsource offers great rewards for doing that. But I need some qualifications for that. This is the big problem. I don't know how to take those qualifications. I mean, there is no test..I just request them and I am supposed to be accepted ? On what considerations ? Moving on. Is there any qualifications tests that will help me start my engine faster here on this site? Is there anyone who can come up with some links to this kind of qualification tests, or I don't know..thing is, I started working here some time ago, I've stopped, and now I am back. It seems to be a good site. One more question...I've seen lots of HITs that require you to be from US...are any of you guys making good money by NOT being from US? Thank you for taking your time and reading this.
Well, CrowdSource also has a website up where you can take the test, but they are not currently testing users. You can sign up for an email notification when the testing window opens at http://www.write.com As for US/Not US, most of the work on mTurk is for US workers, and most of the money to be made on mTurk is or US residents. Currently, international applications for mTurk are not being accepted.
I'm not new to turking, but I've had a question niggling at me for a while that I haven't been able to find the answer to. I'm assuming the answer is there isn't, but I'll give it a shot anyway. When you have a HIT rejected, is there a way to view the HIT and see what it was? I do the Readabl mail identification HITs, and on occasion I get rejections. I'm always curious what the rejection is for, but the requester doesn't seem to respond to communication. The rejections are rare enough that they don't impact my statistics negatively at all, but just from a curiosity standpoint I like to see what I screwed up (or what they screwed up). I'm guessing there's not actually a way to see.
Click on the date with the rejection and it'll show you the list of HIT's you completed and the status so you should be able to see the rejection with the reason. Least that's how it works for me.
Right. But I did over 800 of them today so good luck knowing which piece of mail got rejected. It just says the reason ("Rejected"). Hence why I was asking if there's a way to view the actual HIT to know which picture I incorrectly identified. It's not a big deal - one rejection in a whole week of thousands that were correct isn't a problem. I'd mainly like to know just for my own satisfaction, so I know what I might have mis-identified (which isn't out of the realm of possibility, some pieces of mail are confusing as they'll have multiple company names on them). Basically I'd like to actually learn from my mistake. But with large-volume HITs like those, it's incredibly difficult to do that.
Unfortunately there is no way to go back and "see" the actual hit that was rejected. You can only see the list and if there was a reason given for the rejection. readabl is one that gives ambiguous reasons for rejects and does not respond to emails or queries as to why it was rejected. I "cherry pick" the ones that are obvious and leave the ones that are generic like "bmw", "abc", an individuals name, etc alone.
So, I read alot about pending hits, and the amount pending for these hits. I have no idea where to look this up, but would be very interested to do so. I have currently over 350 hits pending (most from the last 3 days) and I would love to know how much I have coming in. BTW, I use Google Chrome, in case this makes a difference. And if this was asked before, sorry
I just started mTurk since I FINALLY got them to verify my amazon payments account. I did a few hits and have $1.22 of approved hits. Why do I not see this amount in my amazon payments account? Or even in my Current Balance on mTurk? Is this something that just updates every couple of days?
The approved wont show up in your payments account until the status changes to paid, which won't happen during your 10 day probation period.
