My best day: wednesday, november 6 ; $50.35 Goal 1: - pay my in-law's domain name for 3 years. I've made the money, goal will be achieved once the payments are no longer pending, and amazon lets me withdraw. Goal 2: - buy a new charger for husband's tablet Goal 3: - buy some shoes or boots that will let me have dry feet this winter. I buy a pair every year but my feet are always wet and I slip. I need help finding shoes or boots that will actually be fit to walk in the snow and ice in the winter. Goal 3: - Need a new hard drive for my laptop, it's long overdue for 2 or 3 years. It gets stuck loading files for 10 mins while it makes weird noises.
Husband and I decided to change our internet so instead of the goals above, I bought a cable modem. It's much cheaper to buy the modem than to rent it. Our internet will be much faster, and... a lot cheaper! It should be about 3 to 4 times faster, hopefully almost 300 kbps. Now the internet will be fast enough that I can work on mturk while he's online. I often had to stop working online because the internet wasn't strong enough for two people. Goal number 2 will be the replacement hard drive because it's acting even worse than usual. Which reminds me, I better back up my files.
