I'm not sure if this has been done in the past. Would Amazon take kindly to creating a new class of workers, those that maintain a 98% approval or better? Requester's would see a chance to get pretty much the same results as Masters, but at say, 30% less costs. At the same time those who maintain this standard would see a likewise 30% increase in pay for each hit. What would you call these workers? Super Turkers? Just a thought. Jake
This would never happen. Amazon will never make a qual better than Masters, and as rare as it is to see Masters handed out, what makes you think you would ever get it? Not to mention that nearly every smart turker out there is at the fake 100% or very close to it. It would be nice to imagine, but Amazon does not care about requester's saving a couple of pennies, nor do they really care what the worker thinks.
The fee for using the masters qualification is only 5%, not 30%. By reducing the fee, Amazon has admitted that the masters qualification offers little value.
