I know of only two regular requester, who help me make at least $5 an hour- Kevin Dodds and Speechink. While working on Kevin's $0.07 hit for finding two quick url's and Speechink $1.5 quick verbatim hits can guarantee that you make at least $5 an hour, I'm sure there must be many more good requester like these. Please share the info about any other requesters like them. Thanks.
Actually I can transcribe 4 minute of audio in 20 mins, so it means $3 an hour but I also get almost $1.5 as bonus for the three hits, so in total it's $4.5. I'm trying to increase my speed and there are people who can transcribe 4 minutes of audio in 10 minutes, just think how much they can make in an hour. I'm always trying to increase my typing speed.
So you're telling me you know people who can scribe 24 minutes of audio in 1 hour? I do not believe that. I go at a rate of 15X audio length. edit: and yes I know.. I am slower than a turtle sleeping.
The ratio that some good transcribers have is like 1:4. 5 minutes of audio takes 20 mins and one hour audio takes 4 hours to transcribe.
